Marek Vácha

Marek Vácha is a Czech Roman Catholic Priest, theologist and biologist. He studied at Faculty of Natural Science at Masaryk University in Brno specialisation Molecular Biology and Genetics , in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology in Olomouc and in l´Institute d´Etudes Theologiques in Brussels. In 1996, he became a Roman Catholic Priest. Vácha has also experience as a teacher of religion and biology. In 2006, he obtained Ph.D. The topic of my dissertation was The identification of ethical issues caused by new knowledge about human genome. From DNA to Evolutionary Psychology. He is head of Department of Medical Ethics at 3rd Faculty of Medicine in Charles University in Prague. Marek Vácha is also a head of the Academical Senate of 3rd Faculty of Medicine.
