Zsolt Barthel-Rúzsa

Executive Vice-Chairman of Századvég Foundation and Director-General of Foundation for a Civic Hungary (Budapest, Hungary).

After graduating at the Lutheran Theological University, Zsolt worked as the Bishop’s Secretary and began to serve as a Lutheran pastor.

In 2003 he was elected as Chairman of the National Union of Students in Hungary.

Zsolt became Director for Social Relations at Századvég Foundation in 2005. He then served in various managerial functions at the Foundation, supervising its civil society, educational, publishing and public outreach programs. He was appointed as the Executive Director of the Foundation in 2013 and served as Chairman of the Foundation between 2016 and 2018. Currently he is the Executive Vice-Chairman of Századvég Foundation and a Member of the Board at Századvég Economic Research Co. Ltd. In May 2019, he has been appointed as Director-General of Foundation for a Civic Hungary.
